Kathy Burkholder

Kathy Burkholder is a former “Zookeeper” at the Insect Zoo, Los Angeles County Natural History Museum and was the Nature and Science Instructor for the City of Manhattan Beach, California.

      You may have seen or heard her on many local and national television and radio shows, or read about her in newspaper articles as a specialist in insects, butterfly gardens, and birthday parties (“smart parties”).

She has also performed at numerous shopping malls, grand-openings, fairs, special events, charity functions, schools and birthday parties.

Kathy was also a volunteer at the Marine Mammal Care Center at Fort MacArthur and has extensive animal (and children) handling experience.
